Free profiles come first
Every company is profiled for free, and a company cannot pay to rank higher in our editorial guides. The order of companies in those guides is decided by our own methodology, not by payment.
Paid and featured placements
Companies can pay to manage their own listing or to feature it. Anything a company has paid for is handled separately from our editorial ranking, so a payment never moves a company up our guides.
Partner and affiliate links
Some links on the site are partner or affiliate links. If you contact or engage a company through one, we may earn a fee at no extra cost to you. This never changes how a company is ranked or described in our editorial guides.
Our promise
Money never buys a better profile or a higher editorial ranking. Paid placement only ever buys a clearly separated, owner managed listing.
